QAT > Customize > Import/Export

Put commonly used commands on the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT). Export and Import the QAT to save customization time.

Steps to Customize

Click the down arrow at the end of the QAT to customize or change it

Import

  1. To IMPORT QAT from a customization file, click Import/Export in lower right and choose Import customization file
    menu to import customization file for QAT
  2. Browse to the file you want (default extension is exportedUI)
    Browse to QAT customization file
  3. Double-click filename, or click to select it and then click the Open button or press ENTER
  4. The list on the right will change to show the newly imported commands imported QAT commands

Export

  1. To EXPORT QAT to a customization file, click Import/Export in lower right and choose Export all customizations

  2. Change Folder to Save file if desired

  3. Change Filename, if desired, to indicate version and date (yymmdd) saved Default filename for QAT customization file
